The via ferrata for athletes!

The via ferrata at St Jean d’Aulps offers 2 courses, one rated D as “difficult” the other ED “extremely difficult”. Despite this rating, the difficult course remains accessible and it is on this course that we will take you.

The most difficult will not be the technical aspect but the vertical challenge due to the height. Indeed this course is very well equipped but it runs along a hundred metre high cliff, walking in the less physical parts of the wall. You won’t have pain in your arms, maybe a little in your heart…!

If you have the courage to turn around during the ascent, you will discover a magnificent panorama of the Aulps valley with Mont Blanc in the background. Rest assured the end of the ascent offers something fabulous to sit on the grass to enjoy the view!
