Every day during the summer, the Morzine-Avoriaz Bureau des Guides offers you the opportunity to take the Avoriaz Via Ferrata. Accompanied by a high mountain guide you can discover this not very difficult and fun activity allowing you to taste the pleasure of the vertical void, no need for training and great knowledge in the mountain environment to be able to take advantage of the equipped courses and swing bridges. You just need a little adventurous spirit. For the more seasoned a more athletic option awaits you. Otherwise there are possible escape routes! Count 2.5 to 3 hours to reach the summit of the Roc du Tours which offers a magnificent panorama over the mountain range of the Portes du Soleil.

Restoration of the Avoriaz Via Ferrata

For a few years the Avoriaz via ferrata was not in service. The maintenance of certain sections was too tedious and it had been decided to stop their operation. A few years ago, the Morzine-Avoriaz Bureau des Guides proposed a new route, keeping the most passable parts to offer an accessible route and an alternative to other via ferrata routes in the sector.

Result, a route accessible to the majority of people in a mountain mountain setting with enough altitude to be cool in summer. The best!
